Vidya is the Legal Counsel of Real Estate Fund of ICICI Venture's Legal Department since 2006. Prior to this, she has over 18 years of experience in corporate, real estate and mortgage related laws. At ICICI Venture, she is currently responsible for documentation, legal review/appraisal, structuring, formulating policies, compliance and due-diligence of transactions of real estate fund. Prior to ICICI Venture, Vidya has diversified expertise in these areas.

In the early years she was a practising lawyer and has also worked as a Legal Advisor for eminent Developers. Prior to her current assignment Vidya had her short stint with Kotak Realty Fund as Head of Legal and earlier was also the Head of Legal department of Home Finance Division of ICICI Bank Ltd and was looking after the pan India legal requirements of the division.

Vidya is a graduate in Commerce & Laws from University of Mumbai; she has also completed her Diploma in Management Studies (University of Mumbai) and is also a Diploma holder in Computer Science.
