TV Today Network is a company of the India Today group, which is a leader in publishing, television programming and music. It was launched in 1990 as a television software production house, and is today acknowledged as one of India's foremost production houses for television news programming. The company had grown from Rs. 340 million (USD 7.8 mn) revenues in 2000 to Rs 1,440 million (USD 32 mn) by the time of exit of ICICI venture

Over the period of the investment, ICICI Venture guided the company and helped it migrate from a start-up to a player of repute and also facilitated development of the long term business strategy.
