Sanjay brings with him over 15 years of experience in the Indian Equity Markets prior to joiningICICI Venture in 2005. He is currently responsible for advising on the divestment of the listed companies in the portfolio and also advising on the timing of the IPO’s. He is responsible for developing relations with foreign Institutional Investor’s and other market intermediaries in the capital market.

Prior to joining ICICI Venture, Sanjay was with Prudential ICICI AMC for 12 years as AVP-Investments. He was responsible for the execution of all secondary market transactions of the Fund. He was also managing the Index Fund and was instrumental in setting up the first ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) on the BSE. He was also responsible for implementation of CRTS (Charles River Trading System) regional trading platform, in the Fund in India.

Sanjay is a Commerce Graduate and has done his Masters in Management Studies from Mumbai University.
