Sajal joined ICICI Venture in 2008 and focuses on investments in the Financial Services, Energy and Hospitality sectors. He is also actively involved in the close monitoring of portfolio companies including Karvy Stock Broking, Shriram City Union Finance and HDFC Bank (Centurion Bank of Punjab). Sajal has professional experience across the areas of private equity, mergers & acquisitions, project finance and structured finance. Prior to joining ICICI Venture, he was working with the Corporate Finance team at Yes Bank. He also previously worked with Citibank in their Structured Products Risk Management Group. Sajal began his career with the Investment Banking group at SBI Capital Markets.

Sajal has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and an MBA from the S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research.
