Ravindra joined ICICI Venture in 2000. He is currently responsible for assessing and mitigating business risks in ICICI Venture’s existing and potential investments, and works closely with the Investment teams to maximize the returns from the investment portfolio. He also manages some of ICICI Venture’s earlier investments in the areas of Information Technology (IT) related services, IT enabled services, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) segments.

Prior to joining ICICI Venture, Ravindra worked with the erstwhile ICICI Ltd. (since merged with ICICI Bank) for over 12 years in the corporate credit function. He joined the erstwhile ICICI Limited (since merged with ICICI Bank) in April 1988 in the Project Finance Department. His responsibilities at ICICI included developing and maintaining client relationships in a wide range of industries, cross selling ICICI Group products, working out innovative financing solutions for clients, restructuring stressed assets, etc. He has handled both equity and debt related products during his tenure at ICICI, and headed ICICI’s Hyderabad Zonal office before moving to ICICI Venture in September 2000.

Ravindra holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
