Rajiv Shukla joined ICICI Venture in 2008 and focuses on investments in the Lifescience and Chemicals sectors. He is a Board Member at RFCL, Iven Medicare, Swiss Biosciences, Arch Pharmalabs, Bharat Biotech, Malladi Drugs and Iven Pharma.

Rajiv has senior leadership experience across corporate development, investment banking and management consulting. He was previously Executive Director at Avendus Capital, a top 5 investment bank in India. Before that, he was Senior Director of Business Development at Pfizer at their global headquarters. At Pfizer, Rajiv played a key role in five acquisitions totaling USD 63 billion besides leading numerous growth and cost management initiatives for which he received several leadership awards. Rajiv began his career as a Management Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. He serves on the CII National Committee on Pharmaceuticals and the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry IPR Committee.

Rajiv has a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management from Harvard University, a Fellowship in Pharmaceutics from the State University of New York and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutics from the Institute of Technology at Varanasi, India.
