Laxmikant joined ICICI Venture in March 2010. He has over 10 years of experience in the financial services in the areas of Operational and Financial Risk Management with Financial Intermediaries like Mutual Funds, Bank, Primary Dealer, Insurance, Stock Broker. Prior to joining ICICI Venture, he held senior positions in Birla Sun Life Group, Franklin Templeton Asset Management, DCB, Tata TD Waterhouse Securities and ICICI Securities. At ICICI Venture, he is responsible for Risk Management function and also assist in Internal Audit.

Laxmikant is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India and a Graduate in Commerce. He also hold certification of FRM (Financial Risk Management) from USA.
