Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL) is one of India's fastest growing EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) companies, primarily involved in construction of power transmission lines. The Company was founded by Mr. Mofatraj P. Munot in 1981 and belongs to the Kalpataru Group of Companies, which has interests in power transmission, real estate and construction businesses. It may be noted that KPTL controls JMC Projects, a company engaged in civil construction.

KPTL executes both domestic and international transmission and distribution projects and has recently forayed into pipeline laying, a segment which is expected to grow rapidly in the near future. Over the years, the Company led by Executive Director Mr. Ajay Munot has performed very well on project selection and execution, as borne out by its efficient working capital management and consistent profit margins.
