Geometric was incorporated as a division of Godrej & Boyce before focused effort was put on the potential of PLM. Geometric is also displaying an increasing appetite for larger deals, fixed price projects and owned products. Geometric recently acquired the engineering services division of Modern Engineering for an equity value of USD 25 mn. The key benefits of this acquisition would be that the merged entity would be able to offer superior integrated PLM and engineering services capability to a wider range of clients through its enhanced global presence.
