Gagandeep (“Gagan”) joined ICICI Venture in 2008 and focuses on investments in the Financial Services, Manufacturing and Energy sectors. He is also actively involved in the close monitoring of portfolio companies including Karvy Stock Broking. Gagan has professional experience in the areas of private equity and project finance. Prior to joining ICICI Venture, he was working with the private equity practice of WL Ross & Co. LLC in Mumbai looking after turnaround, buy-outs and special situation opportunities in the Manufacturing and Financial sectors. He has previously worked with CRISIL in their advisory division consulting clients on project finance, financial feasibilities, bidding processes and market studies in infrastructure sectors, including Oil & Gas, Power and Petrochemicals.

Gagan has acquired Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
