In one of the pioneering private equity transactions in the real estate space in India, ICICI Venture purchased 106,000 square feet in a building known as Cyber Gateway in HITEC City, Hyderabad from L&T Infocity Ltd. The tenant for the property was IT giant Dell.

ICICI Venture made the investment in 2003. The property was sold in 2004 to a high net worth individual.
