Amit joined ICICI Venture in 2008 and is part of the Business Development team.  He is based in New Delhi and focuses on sourcing deals and analyzing investment opportunities across all sectors.  He works closely with the Private Equity, Real Estate, and Infrastructure practices.  Prior to joining ICICI Venture, Amit worked with Cadbury Asia-Pacific and HCL Technologies.  He has corporate experience in the areas of valuation, strategic planning, commercial finance and internal audits.

Amit has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.  He is also a certified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary.
