Aekloveya Shyam joined ICICI Venture in 2007 and focuses on investments in the Lifesciences space. Prior to ICICI Venture, Aekloveya worked as Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions in Ranbaxy Laboratories for three years. He was a part of the M&A team which executed the acquisition of Terapia, Allen GSK, Ethimed Labs, Nihon Pharma, RPG Aventis, and was also a part of Ranbaxy’s other inorganic initiatives in Europe and Asia Pacific. On the divestment side, Aekloveya was a part of the team which executed the sale of Ranbaxy’s Allied Businesses (RFCL) to ICICI Venture in 2005. He also worked at KPMG’s Corporate Finance Division where he was responsible for valuations and transaction management.
