Uttam joined ICICI Venture in 2007 and currently focuses on investments in the FMCG, domestic services and education sectors. He also has been closely involved in the completion of deals in mining and manufacturing sectors. He is also involved in the active monitoring of portfolio companies in the domestic services sector. Prior to joining ICICI Venture, he worked for one year with Morgan Stanley Advantage Services in their Investment Banking division in the consumer and retail industry group.

Uttam is a commerce graduate and a rank holding Chartered Accountant.
