KS Jangbahadur (“Jang”) joined ICICI Venture in 2008. In addition to making international investments, he is responsible for developing strategies and partnerships to scale up ICICI Venture’s investments in overseas markets. Prior to ICICI Venture, Jang was an investment banker for over 14 years and worked at JP Morgan, UBS and Credit Suisse in Mumbai, Singapore, Hong Kong and San Francisco. Jang's most recent position was with JP Morgan in San Francisco where he was a Managing Director and responsible for the Global Software Investment Banking practice. Before JP Morgan, Jang was with UBS in San Francisco where he was also a Managing Director and headed the Global Software Investment Banking practice. Prior to UBS, Jang was part of CSFB’s Technology Investment Banking Group in Palo Alto in a variety of roles including running the West Coast Internet Infrastructure group as well as the US Data Services business. Prior to his 9 years in the US, Jang worked at CSFB, JP Morgan and JP Morgan's joint venture with ICICI in Asia across corporate finance, equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.  Jang began his professional career with Tata Steel in Jamshedpur.

Jang has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering  from the Institute of Technology, Banares Hindu University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
