Hoshedur joined ICICI Venture in 2007. He currently focuses on buyout transactions as well as investments in the manufacturing, engineering services and commodities sectors. He is currently involved in managing the investment in Tebma Shipyards, where ICICI Venture has a controlling stake. Hoshedur has over eight years of experience, which spans across banking and industry. He was a Corporate Banker for five years, most recently with Citibank N.A. and before that with ICICI Bank. Prior to that he was with Coca-Cola India in the treasury and commercial finance functions.

Hoshedur holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from R.A. Podar College, Mumbai and has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
